Many events are held in the City of Palmetto throughout the year such
as the Jerry Hill Kid's Fishing Tournament, the Desoto Children's
Parade, and the Children’s Party in the park at Sutton Park after the
parade. Heritage Day, the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade, and
the Multi-Cultural Festival are also great events.
